In order for me to afford to raise my kid and try to afford building or buying a home, I’ve had to give up something I love and something hate. The thing I hate is smoking. The thing I love is collecting Hot Wheels.
Giving up tobacco is hard.
Giving up Hot Wheels is even tougher.
So I decided to take my collection and trade it away in order to create a display for a local toy museum. The museum is part of a local historic hotel and conference center that could use something like this to maybe lure some HW events to be held there. I figured if I could do this then all the years and money I spent collecting could go on to create something that lots of other people might come and enjoy for years to come as well as bring some business to a local landmark.
